Frozen has been and still is a huge sensation. Whether you love it, hate it, or are still laughing at the latest performance of “Let It Go” by Idina Menzel (AKA Adele Dazeem,we love her), you know you know the words.

The newest gay club night, Thank God It’s Friday, starts tomorrow, and theme is, appropriately so for a chilly January night, Frozen. We're pretty sure that they guys have been inspired by the words to “Let It Go” as the following interpretations suggest:

“The snow glows white on the mountain tonight
Not a footprint to be seen.
and it looks like I’m the Queen
The wind is howling like this swirling storm inside
Couldn’t keep it in;
Heaven knows I’ve tried”

Translation – It’s winter time. Everyone is staying in and not seeing friends or partying. But the Queens can’t help themselves, it’s time to hit the clubs.

“Don’t let them in,
don’t let them see
Be the good girl you always have to be
Conceal, don’t feel,
don’t let them know
Well now they know”

Translation – Don’t try and hide it, you’re fabulous, get out there and move it.

“It’s funny how some distance
Makes everything seem small
And the fears that once controlled me
Can’t get to me at all”

Translation – Once you get to the club you’ll forget everything and everyone else, especially after a bit of tequila!

“It’s time to see what I can do
To test the limits and break through
No right, no wrong, no rules for me,
I’m free!”

Translation – Bust a move, get down and live for the music. There is only the music and the night, and possibly a very cold walk home, so enjoy it now.

“My power flurries through the air into the ground
My soul is spiraling in frozen fractals all around
And one thought crystallizes like an icy blast
I’m never going back, the past is in the past”

Translation – Just like Elsa building her fabulous ice palace, something is coalescing here: the gays, the winter, the music. The guys who brought you the very successful “It’s ______ Bitch Party” are now bringing you their newest monthly party “Thank God It’s Friday” and we're looking forward to many more!
